Italian  fashion designer Giorgio Armani reveals he is a great admirer of Kate Middleton’s sense of fashion and is looking forward to see her choice of outfit for her wedding with Prince William.

Armani, who will design Charlene Wittstock’s wedding dress when she marries Monaco’s Prince Albert in July, admits Middleton is “so discreet and straightforward and is highly aware of fashion trends”.

“She will have all the time in the world to become fully integrated into her new role and choose the most sophisticated and precious dresses and outfits for official occasions,” femalefirst quoted Armani as saying.

In the same vein, Karl Lagerfeld has described her as”Better for the generation to come,” he told WWD. “She is very different from Princess Diana, and seems a very well-balanced and a happy person. She is chic in a way the position needs. Let’s wait and see.”

And, although she may not have royal blood, Lagerfeld asserts that Middleton bears a striking resemblance to another European royal: Crown Princess Mary of Denmark. “Like a younger sister,” he commented, adding that she is both “beautiful and elegant”.
