Yesterday this Lady on a Vespa was lucky enough to get an standing pass for the Spanish designer Emilio de la Morena. The consultant turned into designer got an awful lot of VIP at his front row, including the likes of Olivia Palermo, Andrea and Charlotte Dellal, or Denise Lews.

High-neckline dresses, elegant silhouette with subtle detailing and sheer fabric were used extensively in black, nude and soft pink, paired up with red heels and a red ribbon in nearly all of the models hair.

The sophisticated selection of pencil skirts, blouses and long dresses in very wearable colours stole more tha on approving look from the crop of the creme fashion editorial crew, also at thecatwalk show.

Highlight outfits included a white fringed skirt styled with a devastatingly beautiful buttoned up dusty pink blouse and a red silk pencil skirt teamed with black crochet.

Talented fashion photography duo Hunter & Gatti  team up with clothing giant Mango for brands first-ever online video mini-series set to premier on What Should I Wear by Mango web page.

Filmed in Los Angeles but inspired by the iconic Sex & The City, for this 8 episode mini-series, actors will be joined by real people like the stylist Luke Storey and fashion bloggers Rumi Neely, Natalie Suarez and Julie Sarinana, who offer their own fashion tips to the characters which actually can be applied to the real life situations.

What Should I Wear by Mango mini-series premiers March 15th, and as the MANGO production team themselves explain in MNG corporative blog, they just got back from Los Angeles a couple of weeks ago. “You may remember we were out there filming a new offering for What Should I Wear by Mango 2011”  remind the filming crew to all the followers of the Spanish brand.

A lot of work has gone into it, but we’re proud of the end results and are really hoping you’ll love it. I really don’t want to spoil the surprise, but you should know it includes 4 girls in Los Angeles. Just imagine!

Hopefully, we’ll be seeing little snippets over the next few weeks, and if we believe the gossip, it’s worthy of a cinema screen!

The former NYC Fashion Week, known since two years ago as the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week officially commenced on February 10. But as usual, a celebrity runway for a new collection of Heart Truth took place on the evening before.

Featuring dozens of beautiful red dresses from different designers, the Heart Truth collection was founded by the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute. The campaign aims to bring attention to the problem of heart disease in American women and counted on the presence of Dita Von Tese, who appeared with a Zac Posen number on the runway.

Nicholas K, the label managed by designer Nicholas Kunz and her brother and business partner Christopher Kunz, was again chosen to open the grand event. The pair went for a tender touch of country style and nature to the stage. As Nicholas put it herself, inspiration came from “the perfect cabin, surrounded by protected land with reservoirs, trails for hiking, forests for hunting, and streams for fishing,” according to an official press release. Nomadic and aboriginal elements made the rest of her collection, bringing into the spotlight Navajo people beads and fringes and Mongolian fur to create the feel of ancient life.

But it was Victoria Beckham the one who stole every look at the New York Sunday session. Being the latter her 5th season as a designer, and using a palette she described as “desert brights,” Beckham offered a teal matte gazar V-neck cocoon that she said was “young red carpet,” but the finale gown in the same colour and fabric was the one to talk about: It had chiffon-covered resin bits arranged in a mosaic pattern that looked like shards of shattered glass around the neckline.

For the first time, Beckham offered coats, including a red raglan-sleeve coat with a buckle at the collar and a super-chic black coat with knife pleats from hip to hem. Pleated dresses crowned the whole collection, being led by a saffron-yellow crepe number with a halter neck and the honeycomb gown, also with a halter-neck, that had restrained pleats at the top and fuller ones on the skirt. That look, she said, was her favourite.

Finally, we won´t miss the proposals from Alexander Wang…enjoy it!
