This Thursday, 24-Feb-2011 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Maggie Semple invites you to celebrate the Fashion Week Special with Susie Stone held at her bespoke womenswear atelier on Bermondsey Street. Guests will be shown a tour of Susie’s studio, introduced to the new collections and ready-to-wear pieces.

Maggie Semple Limited promotes the kinship of women through exquisite publications and exclusive fashion services. Launched in January 2011, Semple Secrets are intimate events with Maggie Semple in conversation with women at the forefront of fashion, journalism, art and ethical business. These events combine topical conversation, insightful discussion and audience participation.

Previous sessions include conversation with Claire Wilcox, Senior Curator of the V&A of the exhibition The Golden Age of Couture: Paris and London 1947-1957, she curated the V&A’s major exhibitions Vivienne Westwood (2004), Versace at the V&A (2002) and Radical Fashion (2001) and edited the accompanying books. She also devised the V&A’s Fashion in Motion series which has been running at the Museum since 1999.
