Urban style blog Hypebeast reports, citing Asian fashion site Fashion Snap, that the designer’s upcoming fall/winter collection for the Japanese retailer – scheduled for a September release – will mark the end of their collaboration.

Initially launched for fall/winter 2009, the partnership brought the German designer’s minimal creations to the mass market for the first time. Sander had left her own fashion house, now headed by Belgian designer Raf Simons, when it was bought by Italian luxury company Prada.

“With the recent completion of the design of the fall and winter collection, Ms. Sander and Uniqlo agreed that they had fully explored the possibilities of their creative collaboration and accomplished what they had set out to do. Consequently, the two parties have decided to wrap up their design consulting agreement with this collection,” said Uniqlo in a press release.

Having established a cult-like following with her eponymous label, which she resigned from in 2004, Sander’s affordable and high-quality ranges for Uniqlo – all conceived with her less-is-more aesthetic – featured covetable coats, elegant white shirts and tailored trousers praised by shoppers and fashion insiders alike.

The Scotish spoilt child of British Fashion will be throwing a shopping escape labeled with catchy 70% off tags on its ready-to-wear and accesories. MAC Cosmetics and British designer Gareth Pugh have collaborated on a multiple colour product and accessory collection that is due to roll out globally in November, note the date in your diaries!! Taking into account that he is a favorite among most fashion-forward thinkers such as Lady Gaga or Kylie Minogue, expect quirky and stating pieces, darlings.

MAC has supported Gareth since his debut almost seven years ago. A party to celebrate the launch is scheduled to take place next month, but details have not been unveiled yet, keep checking this page for further and exciting info on that issue…

Kylie Minogue has used many of Pugh’s designs over the recent years, most famously in her Showgirl – The Greatest Hits Tour and Showgirl – The Homecoming Tour. Róisín Murphy recently appeared flamboyantly sporting one of Pugh’s distinctive outfits in the videoclip promoting her 2007 album Overpowered, and on the cover of her single Let Me Know, and on other occasions.Minogue has been seen wearing the same dress in her 2008 video for her single In My Arms. Beyoncé wore Pugh at the MTV Europe Awards in 2008, and for her Diva video.Singer Lady Gaga recently wore a jacket designed by Pugh at the Wango Tango concert 2009 and another piece on X Factor. Ashlee Simpson wore a leather and clear plastic striped Gareth Pugh dress in her video “Outta My Head.” In 2010, Gareth Pugh has opened his first boutique in Hong Kong.

Comradettes is a clothing project inspired by socialist work culture. Created by artist and designer Eldina Begic, its aim is to shift the perception of manual workers and production in society.
Comradettes encourages people to take pride in utility clothing, questioning our aspirations and value systems. Drawing on Constructivist ideas, Begic describes her clothing as “Productivist worksuits”.

Comradettes launches on 22 June with an exhibition of the clothing in an ex-industrial hangar, the Londonewcastle Depot, in London.
