Fashion photographers Clive Arrowsmith (Oct 8 & 9) and Jillian Edelstein (Oct 10 & 11) host fashion magazine-style photoshoots.Up to 100 people each day will have the opportunity to be photographed, receive a copy of their portrait and see it projected on to the Lyttleton Flytower as part of insurance group Aviva’s ad campaign.

British designer Cath Kidston is coming to Selfridges London on 6 October to sign copies of her new book Patch! from 6 – 7pm.

Located in the newly extended Cath Kidston concession department on the Lower Ground Floor, customers will be given the opportunity not only to meet Cath, but also to purchase the book ahead of it’s launch on 7 November.

Patch! will be the sixth book Cath has published and the fourth in it’s series, presenting a new and innovative take on traditional patchwork. The book contains 30 simple patchwork-inspired projects, suitable for beginners and more experienced crafters alike.

Best known for its witty, vintage-inspired printed accessories and home decor, Cath Kidston has become one of the most influential design companies in the UK in recent years.

January 2012 sees the debut of fashion, beauty, travel, interiors and lifestyle title KNIGHTSBRIDGE Magazine.

Elaine Deed has been appointed to oversee fashion, Darren Paul will shoot it and Alexander Jacobs handles advertising; watch this space for other editorial team appointments.

With an initial print run of 10,000 copies, the monthly title will be sold in select retail outlets as well as hand delivered to almost every private home and apartment in Knightsbridge and immediate surrounding areas including Chelsea and Mayfair; it will also be available in the area’s luxury hotels.
